Camera stays always on

I saw that the camera stays always on in the background, even when viewing captured photos, or when you’re in the settings etc.

I experienced this as a problem because on sunny hot summer days, when capturing photos and viewing them in the viewer, because the camera stays active in the background the device gets really hot and lowers the brightness (it surely also drains more battery).

I think it would be more logical to turn off the camera when isn’t active for such practical reasons.
